I am a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE – the largest professional society in the world, with over 320,000 members globally). As a part of their fall global webinar series, the IEEE Electron Devices Society asked me to wax poetic on my philosophy of teaching and mentoring. I did that this past Tuesday. What a blast! I am including below my credo’s for teaching and mentoring for those that might be ‘in the game’. I as say in the talk, teaching and mentoring are FAR broader that a classroom or university context, and as such should be of interest to everyone. An article on this topic appeared in IEEE Potentials magazine, which is aimed at students worldwide, and has a readership of over 70,000.
